So many deals, so hard to decide

That is the tag line to this year's MAS Travel Fair. The Malaysia Airlines Travel Fair is back. For 2 days only (19th and 20th Feb), fares are reduced from KL/Melbourne (RM1158) to KL/Stockholm (RM1578). These prices are certainly a great bargain for frequent travellers who don't need accomodation like students.

I was at the fair alone yesterday afternoon in PISA. No particular destination on my mind. Just thought of going there to look see look see what great deals MAS has to offer.

The outside carpark was completely full though I still managed to find a great spot under a tree after circling three quarter of PISA. There were alot of bargain hunters everywhere once inside. Lots of people and I bet you'll be reading about in today's paper. Entrance is RM2.00 per person.

As with all promotional travel fairs, one ought to be extra careful when deciding on the deal/package cos the prices quoted are always without airport tax and also probably departing ex-KL. No doubt the return air fares are lower than usual but there are bound to be some catch somewhere.

I am hoping MATTA fair will be organised soon to see how the other airlines re-act to Malaysia Airlines' price slash. Has MAS started a price war? I hope so.
