Some Supply Chain Managament Training
I'll be attending some supply chain management training organised by my company's HR dept for two days on Monday and Tuesday. I never liked attending such trainings and I try to avoid them as much as possible due to the fact that my regular work gets piled up after that. Temper tends to flare. People tend to lose control and their ugly side will start to show when trainings are organised by HR.
Why? Clients will complain why there's no reply coz when they sent an email they expect to receive a reply in the next 30 minutes or so. Sometimes replying one day later is as good as no reply.
The only good thing about such trainings is they really feed the training participants like pigs during lunch and tea breaks.
Don't you think 2 days of some training by the name of "Excellence to Supply Chain Management" or something like that is overkill?

KS, during the training, try playing that bingo game you blog about few days back. think of words/phrases yourself.
then you might not feel it is an overkill. :)
Ehm, training.
Try list down those difficult and silly questions and ask them. There's no such thing as stupid questions.
During Q&A, ask plenty of questions. Find their errors and kill them.
