Lau Fu Tze

I went for a hair cut this afternoon. Took the holiday opportunity to get my hair in shape after 3 months since I last visit a barber hairstylist. No, I didn't wanna shave my head botak like this guy. No, I didn't have enough money for Toni & Guy. My hairstylist is one of those aunties with their own small time business cutting and perming hair for other aunties. You know, those kind of establishments that probably exist in most neighbourhoods. Anyway... while getting my hair cut, I noticed 2 Lau Fu Tze comic books on the rack. This Lau Fu Tze comic book character brought back some memories for me.

Ever since I was a kid, the only place I could get my hair cut was at the Indian barber shop a few blocks behind my house. The only one thing I looked forward to was the piles of Lau Fu Tze comics available in the barber shop. I am talking about the time when I was like 8 or 9 lah. The charaters in Lau Fu Tze never ceased to amaze me.

On a side note, no I am no "sua koo", I don't take pics of myself when I had my hair cut... unless when I wanna go bald.
