Random thoughts

It's so easy to blog about anything and everything these days. Just look at the headlines in today's papers, pick a topic and then start blogging about that particular story.

Take for instance, today's headline in The Star, "Bitter pill". It's about rising prices of drugs and pills. If you turn to page 4 or here, you'll see a table showing popular drugs, the prices and the ailments. It's not suprising 3 out of 8 drugs stated in the table are for diabetes. Why? Shortage of sugar, that's why! Now you know the result of shortage of sugar leads to eh? Higher prices of drugs used to treat diabetes! Hah!

I always thought the 2 mother of all industries to work in are the gas and pharmaceutical industry.

This is already one blog entry, isn't it? Short and shweeet. Who says it's difficult to find something to write about?

Now that this is done, lemme go ping PPS ...

Safety slogan

Industrial accidents, personal safety, safety first...blah blah blah... where I work, safety has always been a top priority. Every year, management will organise some kind of safety awareness program for all the "kulis". The "kulis" are encouraged to participate in activities like safety poster drawing and safety slogan writing on industrial accidents.

This time, I decided to participate in the safety slogan writing. I have come up with 10 safety slogans. Slogans that pass the first round will get some monetary reward. Slogans selected will then proceed to the final round and more cash reward will be given. Here are my 10.

1. Time is money but safety is our first priority.
2. Becareful, safety rules.
3. Don't watch her behind, keep safety in your mind.
4. Safety is a must, don't make a fuss.
5. Safety is not petty.
6. You are never too old, safety plays a vital role.
7. If safety is a risk, call the safety committee.
8. Industrial safety can never be compromised or it will lead to your demise.
9. Practise safety from the start if you don't want your fingers to be crushed apart.
10. Practise safety avoid tragedy.

August already ah?

Hey hey!!! It's Saturday Nite It's August again. Last year, we got 2 national car companies, now 3... last year 2 airlines, today we got 3 national airlines... not sure if that everybody can fly airline and FAX can be considered national airlines though.

Anyway... Are those bargers gonna berbelog beramai-ramai in Bahasa Kebangsaan again?!? Will you hear Negaraku again the next time you come here?

Holy cow, the same time last year I was the most eligible guy in town, then I got hitched. Time and tide wait for no (wo)man. So quick, if you really like someone, then go after him/her. What r u waiting for? Next year's Merdeka issit? Shit! What am I bitching about? Arrrrghhh....
