Penang Traffic

Traffic in Penang is becoming worse. Driving here used to be a breeze. The traffic congestion in the island of Penang is now comparable to KL. It's such a small island with so few major roads. Here's what I see everyday when I drive home from work.

Working Saturday

Shit! Tomorrow's supposed to be my off day but I gotta drag my ass out of bed early to get to work coz our sales figures are too low this month. I'll probably drop by the office for an hour or two to see what I could do to help. I guess I just have to do my banking transactions online then. Grssh!

Twenty Grands

I saw the biggest amount of hard cold cash today. USD20,000 all in one hundred dollar notes to be exact. That is about RM76,000! Wow, that's alot of money in cash. Unfortunately, it's not for me but for the company, part of the payment for goods sold to a customer. This Indian customer managed to bring in so much cash to pay to the company without declaring it to Malaysian customs. Carrying around so much cash in a foreign country.... for that I salute you.

Gee... another week is almost gone. It's Friday night again but I ain't jumping for joy. Got to work tomorrow, then attend a 5 hour lecture and also on Sunday. What a torture.

Looking forward to the Man Utd/Arsenal football match this Sunday.

Got my car back this today. Cost me RM97 to change one tire. Had McD for dinner.

Short post. Had a bad start today. Car had flat tire. Sent car to workshop 2 hours ago. Feeling sleepy now. No mood to watch porn.... at least for now. Maybe later.

My family all gone to Johor to celebrate the Festival of the Nine Emperor Gods. So I am all alone at home. Wheee... can watch more porn on tv! Haha... Hope I won't forget to catch up on my studies as well with no disturbances from family members.

I've been thinking about a few things lately. But i guess what i should concentrate now is ....

I have not been able to go to the banks on Saturdays to do my monthly banking transactions like transferring funds ...etc for the past 3~4 months. My work schedule on Saturdays had not been able coincide with the Saturdays which the banks are opened. 30th October is not a working Saturday and it is the 5th Saturday in October so the banks will be open and I can finally get my things done then.

Weekend is almost over. Sigh...

Woohoo! It's Friday night again! Been buzy with Iranian customers today jumping up and down for them like a monkey who has just eaten sambal belacan! They will be here again on Monday and I gotta put on my monkey suit for them again.

I was having a bad headache just before office hours is over today. The pain is still in my head now...argh!!!!!!

This one word is terrifying me. It starts with the letter "F". Men and women have been doing it decades ago. Most people heard about it during their teenage years. Some heard of it earlier... some later. Some learnt about it in secondary school. Many continued to indulge in it in college. Some mastered it in university.

This word had been haunting me for the past few months. The second last letter of this dirty word is "C". Finance is dirty word to many but I need to study it and get this "F" word over with!

Tiles have been put up in my apartment when I went for a visit yesterday. Renovation works are also being carried out in some neighbouring apartments. At this stage, I have decided not to renovate mine yet and will wait and see how others do it before investing money in renovating my first home.

I survived one week in office without my immediate boss who is enjoying unagi, soba, sushi and sake in Tokyo now while I sit in the office trying to figure out my screwed up career. This should be the time for me to decide what I want to do for the next 20 years. Do I want to continue what I am doing today for the next 20 years or should I change now for the better (or worse)? Wtf! Come Monday I will be attenting ISO 14000 training for half of the day. Perhaps this ISO 14000 thing can be useful for me in finding another job?

Fast forward.... I attended a funeral today. An uncle passed away on Thursday night after battling with cancer for about one year.

On another note, planning to go to KL in the coming Raya holidays.
