But it's this piece that really knocked me off.

Puak Keow

What did I do after dinner during Chinese New Year? Well, I "puak keow" of coz! But not the usual Black Jack.



This is "tai sai" or Big Small. When we "open table" to "puak keow", we were always very cautious not to get too excited or shout too loud (think Genting casino) until the neighbours call the cops to give us free hair cut. Hahaha..... big money big money, "big" open 8 times in a row! Unbelievable!

29 Jan - An Oriental Magpie Robin, died of H5N1 avian influenza in Hong Kong. HK Govt warned people to avoid contact with wild birds for fear the disease could infect humans.

31 Jan - 14 Hong Kong tourist killed when tour bus over turn on Egypt's Red Sea coast.

1 Feb to 4 Feb - I kena flu!

I am running away from the Chinese New Year madness. Every year during the Gong Xi period, Penang seems to become the biggest parking lot in the world. Vehicles from other states are jamming the streets. Tomorrow, I am escaping.
