Is your current job right for you?

I have a way to check whether your current job is right for you.
This test has no empirical evidence yet. So Change job Read at own discretion.

Let's start. Imagine you are in a closed room with a small window. There are 100 bricks inside the room. These bricks are arranged in a particular order. What would you do in the room if you are given 30 minutes in the room? Select one from the choices below.

a> Count and re-count the number of bricks.

b> Mess up the room with the bricks.

c> Arrange the bricks in another order.

d> Throw the bricks on the wall.

e> Ignore bricks. Sleep in the room.

f> Break the bricks into smaller bricks.

g> Sit idle. Don't do anything.

h> Throw bricks out of window.

i> Cling on the bricks.

j> Try different combinations to re-arrange the bricks, then say they have not moved.

k> Climb out of the window to leave the room.

l> Stare out of the window.

m> Request for another person to join you in the room to talk. Not moving a single brick.

Now see what job is suitable for you.
If you have chosen a>, then you should be in Accounts Dept.

b> Engineering

c> Planning

d> Operations/Manufacturing

e> Security

f> IT

g> HR

h> Materials Dept

i> QC

j> Sales

k> Marketing

l> Strategic Planning

m> Congratulations! You should be in Top Management.
